Anhidrotic Ectodermal Dysplasia Treatment

Anhidrotic Ectodermal Dysplasia treatment is a challenge for Trichologists; this is a very unfortunate condition of the scalp…

This is a very rare hereditary group of conditions affecting an estimated at 1 in 100,000 male births, the carriers-incidence is probably around 17 in 100,000 women. Multiple symptoms can include abnormal development of the skin, hair, nails, teeth, or sweat glands. The patient usually has thin, sparse hair, or no hair at all. Apparently there is no specific treatment for this disorder.

One of my clients, Miss D, is a sufferer, and in her case she has never had any hair growing on her head. She has worn wigs all of her life…

I have been treating her for this condition for several years with totally natural treatments, and over this time new hair growth has appeared on areas of her scalp, and these areas are now becoming larger.  In addition, she now has vellus** hairs growing over the whole of her scalp.

As this condition was not thought to be treatable, both Miss D and I were delighted to see this new growth of hair appearing.

In the meantime, this is what Miss D has said about her treatment:

“I have been having treatment with David Satchell for four years for the treatment of anhidrotic ectodermal dysplasia. This condition I have had since birth. I have never experienced having any hair and have been in wigs all my life.

Since beginning treatment I have started  growing hair in patches, which are advancing into larger patches of regrowth. I also now have nearly a full coverage of vellus hairs.

I would like to say a big thank you to David for his patience, perseverance and commitment with my treatments which are totally natural using no chemicals only natural products.

The whole experience of being treated by David has been relaxing and encouraging especially as each appointment has shown such positive results.”
 Miss D.  Dorset

This is a long term treatment, and I will be reporting back at a later stage to let you know how things are going.

Back again soon,
